More Paid Survey Sites in the UK

There are more paid survey site reviews below. Remember, you can learn a little more about how paid surveys work with our paid survey guide. The online panels displayded on this page are, in our opinion, those that do not offer the same value or quality as the best UK paid survey sites shown on the previous page. We have also listed some sites which we consider to be untrustworthy and ones you should avoid.

If you have any comments about these reviews or would like to suggest another site to be considered for inclusion on this page please let us know.

More UK Paid Survey Sites

Spider Metrix

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Spider Metrix - is an Australian based survey site which rewards you "spider" points for participating in quick online site polls and longer website evaluations. These valuations are often geographically targetted so there is no guarantee you will be given one to do, although they already seem to be more frequent since December 2007, but thus far have been generally aimed at Australia, Greece and New Zealand. We have completed one UK survey thus far, but you can earn regular single points by logging in every few days and completing the short site polls that appear on the hour. The points are exchangeable for cash payable via paypal, or gift certificates, or you can choose to donate to charity. There is a forum too where you can talk to other site members. It seems to be a growing site and one we are watching to see how it continues to develop.

Survey Savvy

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Survey Savvy is an international provider of paid survey opportunities offering good cash rewards which are paid in US$. The stated average reward for completion of a survey is $3 but we have been offered rewards of between $2 and $20. Each month the site pays $10 to 50 members taken from a pool of those who have not qualified to participate in a survey during that time. There is no minimum nor maximum payout threshold and all payments are made by cheque in US$ (which is a disadvantage to those who take the surveys in the UK). The site states they are currently looking at other methods of payment which may be more appropriate to those living outside of the USA (but that has been the case for a while now). You can also refer friends and family to the site and receive extra rewards based on what they earn when completing surveys themselves. We have only received a few opportunities to complete surveys on this site, but we remain a member as the potential rewards are very good and the site is professional.

MyVoice Survey Panel

rated 4 gold starsrated 4 gold starsrated 4 gold starsrated 4 gold starsrated 4 gold stars My Voice has developed into a very good survey site with original research for you to complete and an open, honest and welcoming feel to their panel. They produce their own surveys and polls which can last anything from a couple of minutes to longer surveys which can last for 15 or 20 minutes. You earn panel points for each survey you complete, which are exchangeable for an excellent choice of 36 shopping vouchers (including Amazon vouchers). The relatively frequent surveys we've received have been interesting, unique, and nice to complete. You even receive a small number of points if you do not qualify to complete the full survey. You must accumulate 2000 points before they can be redeemed for vouchers. 2000 points gives you a 20 voucher. On top of this they also have a regular monthly prize draw to win 1000. The survey invitations we receive are written in an inviting way which we think reflects very well on those who run the panel. This is definitely a panel to consider joining in our experience and if you sign up now you'll get 250 points to get you started.

Nielsen NetRatings

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Nielsen - have been established in online market research, and been a provider of surveys, for many years. They are well known and you will often see the results of their research published online or in the news. Their NetRatings panel is all about monitoring your internet usage with some simple software and sending you surveys in order to improve the internet and what's on offer to you as an internet user. In exchange for your ongoing participation in this important research, you will receive entries into their prize draw giveaways which are held monthly, quarterly and annually, where you can win cash prizes which range from 100 to 3000. Read their privacy policy if you have any concerns about the use of their software.

Crowdology Research Communities

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Crowdology is a fairly new online research community which usually pays you between 40 pence and 3 for each fully completed and valid survey you undertake. Payment amounts depend on the length and type of the paid survey and in some cases may reach up to 10 or more, although we have not yet received a survey that paid this. Most online surveys do not last any longer than 15 minutes, but there are also opportunities to take part in telephone research and focus groups if you wish to (again we have not had this opportunity yet). The site allows you to cash in your cash rewards once you reach 4.00, which is a small payout threshold, although you can choose to wait until you have accumulated more if you want to. Payment is by Paypal, so you must have a paypal account to use this site and be rewarded by it. There are prize draws too to win amazon vouchers held by the site for new members, for those who have been screened out of surveys, a member bonus draw survey (for those who have completed at least one survey in any month), and also for those who have successfully referred their friends to the site. We quite like the look of this site, have received some surveys and one small payment so far. If you have any comments about the site please do let us know.

Opinion World

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Opinion World - is a fun survey site that rewards you with entries into regular prize draws as a thank you for giving your opinion on a wide range of subjects. There are sometimes opportunities to participate in product testing too. Participation in this online panel also supports a number of charities, where you usually choose between three options each time you complete an online survey. You also normally have the opportunity to take part in the sites instant win game where you can win instant prizes, or more often than not, extra entries into the Opinion World prize draws. Occasionally some of the longer surveys will reward you with a payment for completing them fully and successfully. The site is OK and the surveys can be interesting. We certainly receive lots of opportunities to complete surveys, however we have to say that the rewards (in terms of various prize draw entries) are really not as good as those that you can receive on other paid survey sites, like many of those listed above. Nevertheless it seems to be a fairly popular site and one to consider if you enjoy giving your opinion on a very wide range of subjects such as films, topical issues, shopping and electronics to name but a few and you never know, you might just win a big prize!

Home of Research

rated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold starsrated 3 gold stars Home of Research - is a nice online survey site which offers some unique surveys and sometimes (not often though) the chance to participate in online focus groups. You are rewarded with points for fully completing the surveys you are invited to take (although you could get screened out during the first few questions and thus receive no reward). These points are basically equivalent to pennies and once you have accumulated the minimum 2000 points required you can redeem them for a cheque to their monetary equivalent (which for 2000 points would be 20). Most surveys last between 15 and 25 minutes and you are generally rewarded with 50 or 100 points, although larger rewards are sometimes available. There are lots of sub panels that you can join on this site and, as with all survey sites, you should ensure your personal profile is as fully completed as possible to maximise your chances of being asked to complete an online survey. We like the site, but in our experience it can take quite a while to accumulate points and survey invitations can be quite rare.

Media Transfer

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Media Transfer invite you to complete surveys by e-mail and then reward you with MT points. Once you have accumulated 100 of these points you can exchange them for Amazon gift vouchers. 100MTs are equivalent to 16. It is a decent survey site and the rewards are well worth the time and effort spent on participating in their surveys, but it seems to take a while to accumulate points because survey invitations have been few and far between for us. We have been a member for two years and have only recently reached the payout limit of 100 MT points. You may of course have a different experience and receive a higher number of invites. One positive aspect to the site is that you normally get rewarded with a few points even if you get screened out of a survey so your time and effort is not wasted.

Paid Survey Sites in the UK we do not currently recommend

These are sites that either appear inactive, untrustworthy or are potential scams.

QSample

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated QSample claims to be an international survey website which on the face of it appears to offer good rewards in return for members completing surveys. The site design is a little clumsy and has not been updated in all our time as members of the site. We cannot recommend it until we have received a survey, completed it and received payment for it, and we have been a member for well over two years! It is possibly aimed more at North American users.

Opinionate

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated Opinionate states it will pay up to 3.50 for each online survey you complete. When you have earned 10 or more you can request a payout in cash by paypal, or request a voucher from a named high street retailer, or donate your earnings to charity. We have not received a survey from this site for well over a year and a half so we do not recommend joining it at present. It was active when we joined in 2006, but appears to have come to a grinding halt now. We can understand not qualifying for surveys, but it is not credible when a survey invitation is not received for such a long period of time.

MBS Internet

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated MBS Internet is an American based site that claims to offer you more survey opportunities. It is a short sign up process and the rewards are said to be in the form of cash, prizes and entries into prize draws. Apparently survey opportunites may include the chance to participate in online focus groups as well as normal e-mail invitation online surveys. We signed up to this site over two years ago and have never received a survey invitation, so we cannot recommend it at all! It could be targetted at a US audience, but the design of the site is poor and has not been updated at all since we joined. One to avoid.
